Anonymous whispered: 5,6, 10,23, 25 and 30 :)

omg hello

5. What’s your favorite thing to draw?: Already answered!

6. What’s your least favorite thing to draw?: Everything. Anything relating to anatomy, intimate objects, euugghh why do i even draw hahaha

10. Are you confident about your art?: Capable, but not that confident! I feel that I will never be confident about my art— I know that I am able to draw, but I know it doesn’t look as good as I would like at this point— I feel I’ll only be confident when I know my skill will get me places!

23. Do you draw more fanart, or more original art?: I’m lead to believe that I draw more fanart! Then again that comes with wanting to share my work— more people probably care for fanart, though, I would love to get into more original art if the inspiration really hits me.

25. Do you like to draw in silence, or with music?: I like to have a little noise in the background— I usually have a video on the side while I draw; music only when I kick down into “srs drawing mode”.

30. What inspires you to not just make art, but to be a better artist?: Art is what I want to do in the future! Art is literally in my genes! As I’m thinking of an answer right now (which is why I love these things because I get to find a lot of things about myself!)— one of the coolest things about creating art is that it is literally an extension of yourself!

An artsyle is that of one’s thumbprint. No two personal styles are the same! And it’s just really cool; the possibility of working in art-industry with a portfolio that is yours and yours only! It’s hard to explain, but— aahh I could go on forever trying to explain, but I’ll spare you the pain!

picashowl whispered: 5 and 13! :>

ohh! an ask!

thank you so much!

5. What’s your favorite thing to draw?: It’s something to think about— but I’m pretty sure at this point it’s texture! You can scribble whatever and it looks good however you intended it!

13. Do you prefer to keep your art personal, or do you like drawing things for other people?: I like drawing things for others! I wouldn’t share it if it was the contrary! I’m not one of those artists who are able to channel their personal state into art, so nothing gets too personal.

But if I do somehow get the guts to share something that kind-of entails my opinion, and other people get to like it, then that’s like— a triple plus!!

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

wow how did this get so many notes

i’m such a crybaby

seigou is so underground for no good reason

ogod, but The Twelfth Lane by Kaytoko is one of the best fanfics I’ve ever read and i am nOT ASHAMED TO ADMIT IT AAAAAAAAAA

It’s loosely based off of Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” and the plot is just great; the writing fantastic; and this it the first time I don’t mind there being OCs woven into the plot— I’m actually rooting for them too! And you know how picky I am with that, so you know it’s gotta be good!

Full review will come later, probably when it finishes— hopefully if it finishes. God, do I hope so.

But what’s dished out so far has left me grinning ear-to-ear and literally throwing myself around in a fit of laughter, so—

100% recommend.

This is a moment taken from Chapter 6— something about it just stuck with me for some reason, but it’s by no means represents the greatness of it!!

Thanks for healing my ripped seigou “feel-wounds”, Kaytoko :’U
